"Angela’s fermentation workshop gave me the confidence to make my own fermented vegetables!
I love sauerkraut and kimchi and had been reading about the health benefits of eating these foods. But I was nervous about possibly poisoning myself. The workshop provided the twelve participants with a hands-on opportunity to actually make a batch of fermented cabbage. We had a choice of ingredients and could ask questions throughout the process. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
Since then I have made many varied batches of fermented vegetables, experimenting with spices and ingredients. I just ordered more fermentation lids because my son wants to learn how to make kimchi the next time he visits."
